Boy O is fascinated by superpowers. In the car one day he was telling me about all of his amazing superpowers. The amalgamation of water skills, high flying abilities, stretching, creating fire and invisible force fields was truly fantastic. I did manage to ask him one question,
So, what's Mommy's superpower?, to which he responded without pause,
Making dinner. Now that's a superpower that I can live with.
What's your superpower?
Good for Boy O. He is so smart. That a serious power you have. Mine would be being a mommy because nobody in my family can beat my powers, lol.
ReplyDeleteUgh I see that book you are reading; he is a German author.. You have to let me know if he sounds like a German talking the way he describes his book..
Sorry for the delay but I have added your family to Ethiopian Adoption Blogs. Best Wishes!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't had a lot of time to read lately, I'm only about 100 pages in-but he's really good-he talks a great deal about his own long distance running (he's a incredible ultra-marathoner), but mixes in pure biology (also has a Ph.D in Biology) but in a way that is still super interesting. He was mainly educated in the United States after his parents emigrated to Maine after World War II when he was in his early teens. I'm impressed so far-I'm learning a lot about the finer points of fast and slow twitch muscle!
